katie + cory | kitchener, ontario wedding photography

On -yet another- dark and dreary Saturday, we packed up and headed down the road to Kitchener for Katie and Cory's wedding. It was raining so hard we could barely see. At this point, we weren't really surprised since it has rained at almost every wedding so far this year. And it didn't really matter because we were really excited for this wedding. Katie and Cory aren't your typical bride and groom - they are different, and we love different. Take the flowers, for example; every single flower in each bouquet and table arrangement was hand-made by Katie from the pages of recycled books. Amazing. And one could only assume these two would not be posing for photos in a pretty and manicured park setting. We congregated downtown Waterloo before the ceremony, and the rain broke for a total of about 20 minutes (hooray!) which was just enough time for the First Look and a few outdoor shots. And the day continued on, full of rain but also full of love and all the stuff that good weddings are made of.

Cory and Katie, your wedding was fabulous and we'll always remember all the little things about it that made it so You. Thank you for letting us be the lucky ones to capture it. And congratulations!
