Josh + Melissa

Once upon a time, this head-over-heels-in-love guy (Josh) decided it was high time he proposed to his girl (Melissa). So he conjured up this super-romantic idea to take her on a walk in the woods and get down on one knee in the middle of this rustic old wooden bridge, at which point he would ask her The Question.  It seemed like the perfect proposal. And then, the day before the Big Question Day, it snowed. And by “snow” I mean to say that the sky opened up and dumped a ridiculous amount of Canada’s finest frozen goods all over the trail, the bridge, and Josh’s plan.

But Josh was determined that it was still going to happen. Obviously, Melissa was bewildered as her boyfriend pulled her through the aftermath of the blizzard on what she thought was an innocent walk in the woods. Finally, on the bridge -in the middle of a huge snowdrift- Josh popped the question. And, thankfully, Melissa said yes.

True love = great photos! Last weekend was our engagement session with Josh and Melissa. We started off on the trail in Coldstream, and finished up in downtown London (special thanks to Prince Albert’s Diner at 565 Richmond Street!). They were such a fun and sweet couple to work with. In less than a month, we will be shooting their wedding. I can not wait to see them get married. Thanks guys, see you very soon!
